6-17-1908 Mom’s birth. She was my mother in many of my past lives.

5-10-1913 Dad arrived in USA. Brought him with him his Serbian history
and Orthodox faith which has been a great influence on my life.

Sister Toots birth 04-04-29

7-29-33, 1:00pm-My birth, after Mom finished painting some chairs then
drove herself to the hospital.

Sister Danielle birth 11-13-42

1933-48 Lived on West 22nd St. Cleveland, played in neighborhood without
constant supervision. A good lesson in independence. Best time & place to
grow up. Brother taught me golf.

1939-46 Baba’s house (Broadview Rd) fragrance of “Lillies of the Valley”. eating fresh, warm, bread with butter.

1939- Lamb roasts on West 22nd and Simich Dr., Tradition.

06 1939- Baba’s house, Xmas Eve’s with Uncles and Aunts and cousins.

07 1939- Xmas at Mom and Dad’s house, after fasting, the first meal, then the fun gifts being opened. Children’s playing.

1942-1945 World War II. Brother Wally and 3 uncles went to war. Their safe return was an overwhelming joy for us.

1945-50 Jr. & Sr. High School-met best friend for life.

1948 Wally shared some of his war experiences with me. Very emotional.

1948-1961 Moved to Simich Drive/Broadview Rd.

5-1950 Sister Toots married Steve. I got another brother.

Jan 1951 Kent State College-first test of independence, not so well, at first, but got much better.

5-10-1953 Rocky’ birth. I flew to S. Dak. in a thunderstorm, I named him.

1954-57 Stewardess for American Airlines (Quite by accident) A last minute change
in my schedule kept me from being on a plane that crashed (destiny).

1957-60 Met my fist love, not Serbian-a problem for my parents, Very heartbreaking.

4-08-57 Gav & Michael born in a snowstorm. Twins were not expected

6-04-61 Married Mick, Great while it lasted.

3-05-1962 Daughter Paula born in a snowstorm. Has been a storm ever since, kidding?

10-62-64 Lived in France and Germany (2 yrs.) Loved it-felt like I belonged there

1964-1981 Back from Europe, Mick set-up his medical practice and I set up a little
more structured life, open to family and friends.

1965 Built house on Zernich Dr.

8-11-65 Son Kurt born.

1966 Surprise “house warming” Zernich Dr.

1970-2/03/75 Mom very ill. Sadness beyond compare for the whole family.
Greatest loss I have ever experienced.

2-03-75 Mom’s death.

1982-1989 Separation from Mick. Deterioration of our “Camelot life”, devastation-divorce.

1983-2009 Traveled extensively. Deja vu moment in a small town near Mantua, Italy. Very intense!

1983-2012 Move to Florida-new life (destiny) Working woman once again.

2-20-84 Dad’s death.

1985-1987 Worked with a designer-loved it.1983-85 Started work at Gucci’s, Worth Ave. New and wonderful friendships. Success gave me confidence after separation.

1987-97 Started with U of Miami, accomplished a lot and had fun doing it.

1988-A very happy grandmother-Alexa.

1997-2001 Florida board for St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. Overwhelmed by courage of children and their parents. Close friend lost her son.

06-2000 Grandchild Michael birth-have spent a great part of his life with him since I‘m not working.

2002-2008 Ballroom dancing lessons and competitions. One of my passions
along with golf, languages, opera, reading in general.

9-2009 Brother Wally died, He was my hero plus he taught me one of my passions-golf.

2012 Michael, Mila, Dylan, Chase, Mason

5-12-2012 and 5-11-2013 Great grandmother, Looking forward to my next golf game.

7-29-2014 Break 85 in a round of golf.

2018 Death at 85 years of age. Gravestone inscription, “memento vivere”
REMEMBER TO LIVE.
